Uphill Prep is a student-led, accessibility-focused tutoring initiative offering free and very low-cost academic support for students who may not have access to traditional tutoring. While we are not a registered nonprofit, our mission prioritizes free tutoring for students with financial need and community-driven educational support.

Our program is supported through volunteer efforts and modest contributions from low-cost tutoring sessions, which are reinvested to sustain and expand access.

UpHill Prep supports middle and high school students seeking academic assistance in core subjects. Support is provided based on academic needs and tutor availability.

We prioritize providing free tutoring to students with demonstrated financial need. To support program sustainability and expand access, low-cost tutoring options may be available for families who are able to contribute. No student is turned away due to inability to pay.

Families can submit a tutoring request through our online form. We review each request and follow up to match students with appropriate academic support.

We support core middle and high school subjects including math and science, Regents exams, AP coursework, and college readiness topics. Subject availability may vary based on tutor availability.
